Queens Cottage lies in the heart of the ancient conservation village of Dent with its cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Dent is situated in Dentdale, inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park in superb walking country with numerous walks from the door including 'Whernside', one of the three peaks.

Dent village has two pubs (one served by the CAMRA award winning Dent Brewery) teashops, heritage centre, art gallery and craft shop and a thriving village store/Post Office.

The village of Dent is just 20 minutes drive from M6 Junction 37 and within easy reach of the Howgills, Lake District and Scottish border.
